Paraules i música

“Abans, l’hivern era llarg i fred.

Right — been on this thing for maybe four months now and it’s stuck on my phone, reckon I’d chuck my thoughts in since someone asked me a few days back. I’m in the UK, mainly stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, so take it how you like.

What got me on it was actually a bit daft — I could never get my head round what an each way return would be once you get five places instead of three. I used to just wing it and then be surprised. Now I punch the numbers in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator tool is the one I’m on daily — you put in stake and odds and you get the return straight away, either odds format. It also handles the multiples — trebles maths, lucky 15s, patents and yankees, and that’s where I always mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it’s here odds accumulator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

One thing that actually shifted things for me is the nerdier tools. The odds-to-probability converter that shows the overround, and there’s the kelly staking tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutching one is handy too when I’m spreading across selections.

Not all sunshine though. Its design looks a bit basic — no flash, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it’s fine though the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. There’s no app, it’s a website and that’s it — doesn’t bother me but you asked.

Anyway. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does the job. If anyone even now works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — it’s saved me plenty of arguments with the bookie.

So — been using this thing for about a few months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. Am based in the UK, mostly bet football and racing, nothing mad, so take it how you like.

How I found it was actually embarrassing — I could never get my head round what an each way payout actually was once you get five places instead of three. I’d just eyeball it and then be surprised. These days I stick my stake in before every slip, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator tool is the part I open most — you put in the price and your stake and you get the return straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the multiples — trebles returns, lucky 15s, a yankee, and that’s where I’d always lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at treble accumulator and it’s free with no account nonsense.

One thing that really made a difference was the more serious bits. They’ve got an odds-to-probability thing which shows you what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly staking tool — I run quarter kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. The dutching one is handy too if I’m splitting a race.

Not all sunshine though. Its design feels very functional, let’s say — not much frills, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it works though the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. And no proper app, it’s browser only — fine by me but worth saying.

Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, no ads shoved in your face, works. If anyone honestly works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — saved me plenty of arguments with the bookie.

So — been on this thing for about a few months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d chuck my thoughts in since someone asked me the other day. I’m based in the UK, mainly do football and horses, nothing mad, just so you know where I’m coming from.

What got me on it was genuinely embarrassing — I never could get my head round what an each way return actually came to when the place terms changed. I used to just guess and moan when the payout landed. These days I punch the numbers in first, every time, even the boring singles.

Their single bet calculator tool is the part I use most — you put in your stake, the odds and it shows returns instantly, either odds format. Same tool covers the multiples — trebles maths, lucky 15s, yankees, which is where I always lose track. If you want a look, it lives at bet calculator single and it’s free with no account nonsense.

The thing that really shifted things for me is the more serious bits. There’s an odds-to-probability calculator which shows you how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly staking tool — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutch tool is decent for when I’m covering two or three runners.

Not all sunshine though. Its layout is very functional, let’s say — zero flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it’s fine but the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. There’s nothing on the app store, just the site — slight shame but you asked.

Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, works. Anyone who honestly does the maths on paper, give it a go — saved me a fair few “wait, that’s it?” moments.

OK — have been messing about with this thing for about four months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. I’m in the UK, mostly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I’m coming from.

How I found it was actually embarrassing — I could never work out what an each way return actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just eyeball it and then be surprised. Now stick my stake in before every slip, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — you put in stake and odds and you get returns instantly, either odds format. It also handles the fiddly ones — acca and treble maths, lucky 15s, yankees, and that’s where I always lose track. Have a go yourself, it’s here betting patent calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.

The thing that actually changed how I bet is the geekier tools. They’ve got an odds-to-probability calculator which shows you how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly staking calculator — I use half kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit for when I’m splitting a race.

It’s not perfect mind. The layout looks a bit basic — zero frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it’s fine although the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. There’s no proper app, it’s browser only — fine by me but you asked.

Right, that’s me. Free, barely any ads, does the job. If anyone even now does the maths on paper, try it — saved me plenty of arguments with the bookie.

Right — have been messing about with this thing for maybe five months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d chuck my thoughts in since a mate asked me last week. I’m in the UK, generally do football and horses, small stakes, so take it how you like.

How I found it was honestly a bit daft — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an ew return would be once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d guess and moan when the payout landed. Now I type the odds in first, every time, even the boring singles.

Their single bet calculator tool is the part I open most — type in the price and your stake and you get returns instantly, either odds format. It also handles the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15s, a yankee, and that’s where I always lose track. Have a go yourself, it’s here matched betting formula — free, no signup.

One thing that really changed how I bet was the nerdier extras. They’ve got an implied probability calculator which shows you what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly calculator — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are terrifying. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit when I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. The design is a bit basic — no flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On my phone it works although the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. Also there’s nothing on the app store, just the site — fine by me just flagging it.

Right, that’s me. Free, barely any ads, does what it says. If anyone still does the maths on paper, give it a go — it’s saved me a load of arguments with the bookie.

Right — been using this thing for maybe a few months now and I keep coming back, so thought I’d say something since someone asked me last week. Am UK based, generally stick to footie and the horses, nothing mad, for context.

How I found it was genuinely pretty stupid — I could never figure out what an each way payout actually was when the place terms changed. I’d just guess and moan when the payout landed. Now punch the numbers in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.

Their single bet calculator tool is the part I open most — you drop in stake and odds and you get profit and total return straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the bigger stuff — trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, honestly that’s where I’d always mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it’s here what is a super heinz in betting and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

One thing that genuinely shifted things for me were the nerdier tools. There’s an implied probability calculator which shows you how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly criterion calculator — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is terrifying. Dutching calculator is decent for when I’m covering two or three runners.

It’s not perfect mind. The design looks pretty plain — no flash, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it’s fine but the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s nothing on the app store, it’s browser only — doesn’t bother me but worth saying.

So yeah. Free, barely any ads, works. If you still works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — it’s saved me a fair few “wait, that’s it?” moments.

So yeah. Doesn’t cost anything, no ads shoved in your face, does the job. Anyone who even now works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — saves me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
